SHAKESPEARE

O William Shakespeare (1564 – 1616) was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and one of the world's greatest dramatists. It's a big opportunity for us to know more about his life and his famous plays. We will also focus on the love story of Romeo and Juliet. Which is your favorite theatrical play?

UNIT 7 - GOING BACK IN TIME

In this Unit we go back in time, we talk about past experiences and famous historical personalities. We will get to know the legendary Alexander the Great and we will solve the "mystery" of the world famous detective Sherlock Holmes! Get in the time capsule with us and let's travel back in the past....

 Facts about Alexander the Great

  • Alexander was born July 20, 356 BC in Pella, the capital of the Kingdom of Macedonia
  • He was taught by Aristotle
  • Never lost a battle 15 years of conquests
  • In 334 BC, he invaded the Persian Empire
  • He named more than 70 cities after himself (Alexandria)
